Lake Mead/Lake Mohave family Trip

Going to one of these mid October,any tips or pointers on lodging, boat rentals etc... .Quick trip only three days and want to fish stripped bass.

First thing I'd do is check water levels...it wasn't pretty when I checked about a month ago.
