Howdy guys!

I recently moved to camas from Oregon and have been researching the rivers around here for fall salmon. the majority of my experience is northwest oregon and ill be honest when i say i dont know amything about the rivers in sw washington. Looking at targeting the washougal, wind, and klickitat rivers and was curious with everyones experience on those rivers. ill be heading out regardless but a little knowledge of the rivers and timing would be more than appreciated

I would skip over the wind for fall fish and target drano. Great fishing and lots of room for a newbie. You can troll or hover or bobber fish. Whatever you prefer.

This year has been a different year. Out in the mouth of the klick it’s been a 3.5 spinner troll. Normally prawn spinners. Warts and mag lips will pull in a few as well. You can also hover fish eggs and do well if the egg bite is on.

Inside trolling mag lips and hover fishing holes with eggs is what a lot of people do.
