This'll get heated if the same folks show up in this post as one from a while back.  :chuckle:

I've had every aggressive A/T you can buy pretty much, and BY FAR the best performer has been the Goodyear Duratrac. The only downside is they're the noisest "A/T" I've had, but they're not M/T loud.

:yeah: Rotate religiously and they are a tad more quiet  :chuckle:

How many miles are you guys getting out of the Maxx on 3/4 and 1 tons?
For whatever reason people seem to inflate the answers of mileage on tires they buy.  I got 25,400 out of Toyos at, which was horrible.  I am now on the Les Schwab equivalent.  I’m at 28,000 and have about 40% left but don’t like the tire itself that much.  Wanting to try coopers next but not really interested in going through another set of tires in 25k miles.

Sounds like you already ordered, but for anyone else looking: Nitto ridge grapplers. I just put a second set on my f150. First set I put 60,000 miles on. Got a set going on the wife’s 4Runner this week. From Discount Tire  Performed really for me. Including a couple trips to Montana in November. We all know what those trips are like!

So I took a gamble and bought a cheap set of off brand 35’s for my 3/4 ton cummins. It was $900 out the door, dirt cheap. They were kanati trail hogs. I’m very pleased with them. I had 35k on them and sold the truck they probably had 20% ish left. They are the off brand equivalent to the Goodyear wrangler duratrac

I have been getting just over 35,000 miles on my S/T max tires 295/70r18
1 ton gas Ford. I like them for the farm and spend a lot of time on gravel. I always struggle to get any tire to last close to 30,000-35,000 miles. Once they get down to 25% they get pretty soft and are prone to rocks pushing through tread and I have also had ply separation(big blisters on tread) when I get below 20%. I am almost through my third set on this pickup.

Ive got just under 91k on my Michelin AT. Not exaggerating! They are almost to the wear bars on the very outside, probably another 10-15k worth of tread in the center. Tough tires, but not off-road tread. That said, they do better than you’d think, to look at them. Currently around 250,ea at costco.

That’s on a Ram 2500 diesel 4x4.

I bought les schwabs open range all terrain on my super duty.  Put them on end of the year and have 18k miles on them. Ford garage says there's still 90% tread left.  Warranty is 60k miles.  I like them so much I put them on my wife's Tahoe.  Her warranty is 65k miles.  A bit pricey for sure but my stock tires lasted me only 25k miles. Should be well worth it
