Lost another trapper
« on: September 30, 2021, 11:40:40 PM »
Ruel Tiemeyer of Clearwater passed away on the 22nd. I know he was suffering from Alzheimers. I personally think it was precipitated by his handling of chemical munition in Guam when he worked on a clean up of a munitions dump. We'll never know for sure.
We were at odds at one time but came to be friends later. Logger, trapper and beekeeper. He was the last guy I know who trapped marten on the OP. He told me he caught two fisher in the 70s when everyone thought they were long gone. A little outlaw in his blood but nothing to serious.
R.I.P. Ruel

RIP, Old Timer. Thanks for your service on Guam and good luck on your long marten line in the sky.
Kindly do not attempt to cloud the issue with too many facts.
