Holy smokes the deer were on the move this evening!

Figured with the weather change the deer would be on the move. Boy was I right. Pulled up on a nice 3x3 that had a forked horn with it. Just wasnt comfortable with the background so let it walk. That was a tough one as it most likely would have been fine but I decided to use an abundance of caution. Well maybe over abundance of caution. But thats ok.

10 minutes later spotted another forked horn but couldnt get on him fast enough.

Probably saw 10 other deer.

Killed a small 3x4 bull on the muzzy opener so not hurting for the meat, but sure would be nice to put a good black tail in the freezer!

They sure were. Saw a total of 30 blacktail on the 17th. The weather really made them come out.
