Wirehair indeed. Just turned 7, and although he is beginning to slow down, this is absolutely his finest year. 120+ water retrieves with only one bird lost. Many dozens of solid covey points with countless singles. Even one bedded mulie buck pointed and saved me from a stampeding herd of elk. Amazing dogs they are.
