Saw quite a few guys packing a single or two on thier backs.
Talked to a couple guys that had 9 ( they really didn't want to talk to much ) almost like they were nervous  . All I found was a Spike elk side .

Went out for a few hours today

Now I’m no expert but it looks
Like you may have found the wintering grounds of the fabled bull moose??? Nice job man

@KFhunter

As for the moose sheds....do you find them in super thick cover or more open areas.  I have a few winter bedrooms marked too and I am doing something wrong.  I have been looking for three bulls sheds with no success yet and the area isn't that vast....just thick.  The open areas, where I would expect to find them have proven fruitless so far.

Thanks for any advice you willing to give.

Oh...and that set from a couple years ago is pretty awesome.   :tup: :tup:

I'm no expert, I just walk around looking for turds  :chuckle:

All of them have not been super thick, these last 4 were in a thinning area that was done 4 years or so ago, they sawed up the reprod and piled it

Others have been on fingers with those waxy leaves that stay green, not oregon grape they're smooth

Thanks....I will keep up the search.  In 2 miles of trail / road, we counted 60+ piles of poop.  We have trail cam pics with antlers and a week later...no antlers....they have to be close.  To med/small moose and one brute I would love to find.

I'd say you're dialed in, super "moosy" and I grid walk, any faint trail and I run it out, find depressions where they're laying down.  They seem to.like small benches just below a rocky finger.

Good luck!

Oh and a as it lays pic for reference
