Yep, baby chukar.  Happy to be in the "safe" haven around my home.  I had a big ruckuss last night so grabbed the gun and ran out there and my birds were having a cow, but I spotted the song birds raising heck.  Here was a great horned owl.  He had about 6 robins and most importantly about 12-15 kingbirds on his case.  He would try to fly and those kingbirds were hammering him.  He tried to get safe haven, but the birds took turns at his head.  He would move and they were on him.  I guess he made it until dark, then it becomes his domain.
