Filled one tag Friday and one Saturday this weekend. Wasn’t really the easiest hunting but had a few opportunities. Now i wait till august to chase bears.

Saturday was a bust.  Rainy, cold... only 3 jakes and some hens came in.  Sunday was much better.  Little Pathfinder filled his second tag.  9 1/2" bird.  First shot fired out of his new birthday shotgun.

Can't figure out why some pictures always flip sideways... :bash:

Finally broke a dry spell, was invited to hunt a buddy's land out of Chewelah,  after sitting at the base of a tree for a bit and watching a flock move down the hill passing just below my position I picked off this one.

Gotta share this unique mountain bird! Killed Easter weekend after hunting it for 3 days, in the snow. Won’t be forgetting this bird!
