Hey everyone, I have a Bowtech Allegiance circa 2006 that I'd like to get a new string on and ready to hunt with again. It's a great shooting bow and I'm happy enough with the performance I don't see a reason to replace it. It's been a couple years since I've shot it, so I thought it best to re-base line it. Any recommendations appreciated. I'm in Grays Harbor, so Longview-Pierce County is ideal. Thanks

Triple X Archery in Rainier, Oregon.

Lucky Shot Archery in Chehalis.

I've used both and had good service from both.

I'm in Grays Harbor also and if you're interested in buying a new string/cable set, I'll put it on for you.  I have an LCA press.  I recently restrung my old Diamond Fugitive with 60x threads.  Love their strings.

Another nod to Denton at Rock Creek Archery. Worth the drive.

No problem.  Let me know if you need a shooting partner sometime.  I'm a member of the local archery club.

Best bow guy around is Ryan Black, he started a new shop down south by cabelas, Archery World.  I know stringing a bow isn't the hardest, but only Ryan will work on my bow.

I had Denton build a string and restring my 2005 PSE last year. I hadn't hunted with it in 10 years. Worked great for my quality tag last year.

A "X2" on this.  I've had Billy at Side Hill Bow Strings in Kelso build me a couple of custom strings over the past 4-5 years.  EXCELLENT quality and rock solid CS, give him a whirl; (360) 431-6490 and billy@sidehillarchery.com.  Order your string set thru Side Hill and take it down to Archery World to get it set up and you'll be golden.

:yeah: Ryan is a great guy and by far the most knowledgeable bow guy I've ever met. He (Archery World) is also a big supporter of many hunting organizations and local charity events, so it's good to see our money being reinvested in causes we believe in too. He is the only one that works on my wife, daughter and my bows.  :twocents:

I ended up stopping by Archery World in Lacey. After showing them my bow they told me I really don’t need anything replaced T this time and to start shooting it. I appreciate a business that doesn’t sell you something you don’t need.

That is exactly what I experienced a couple months ago when I took my son in laws bow in, I thought for certain the string was damaged, they put it back on the rail and said it was fine.  No charge, they could have easily said, "yeah we can replace that string', but were honest and fixed it for free.  It's a drive for me, but it's worth it.
