I'm sitting at 104 this year.  Used 11 buck points in 2020 couple on a 2nd deer tag last year.

Not sure if it’s luck, the stars aligning, some kind of math algorithm or what, but some people just draw. My wife is one of them, she drew the first muzzy tag for the white w 8 points, drew the rifle rut tag for white w 8 points, drew another quality elk tag back in 1999, and drew a cow moose tag w 7 or 8 points.  My dumb azz still doesn’t put in w her!!!
“In common with”..... not so much!!

My dad drew Dayton bull tag the same year Dan Agnew killed the record bull.  That was when Dayton was good, and he drew with 3 pts.  I wish a pool of tags always went to the top end point holders to increase their odds.  I am not sure if that would WA's system improve while still having a chance with 1 point but it's crazy to think people invested decades and still only have 3-4% chances on oil tags.  Population goes up......... tag quota's go down........where will we be in 10yrs?

there is no good point system that's works well. A hybrid system that gives top points holders x amount of tags while the others go randomly off points might make things a little better but not much.

172 🤢

WDFW can have them for a no point 1 oil or deer or elk system kind of like Idaho.
People get offended at nothing at all. So, speak your mind and be unapologetic.
