Just to be clear here. I am in no way asking for a hand out and certainly don’t want it to come across that way. I just have no idea about fishing spots on this side of the state. I appreciate all the responses.

Definitely not taken that way by me. Let’s get you and the kid out fishing when the time comes.
:fire.:

" In today's instant gratification society, more and more pressure revolves around success and the measurement of one's prowess as a hunter by inches on a score chart or field photos produced on social media. Don't fall into the trap. Hunting is-and always will be- about the hunt, the adventure, the views, and time spent with close friends and family. " Ryan Hatfield

To late! We be handing!

18 foot ctr console, RHBoat. I'm local to lake Stevens and we can hit the lake or head out of everett for flounder. All gear available and gas money not needed. Likely also see a whale or two out there.

Hit me up if you're still around July 1st.  Would have plenty of room for a few bodies, crabbing and flat fishing (sole, sanddabs and maybe some other strange looking creatures).  Would be totally free, just show up in Everett with a cooler (or I could donate one).  I have extra crab and fishing gear and tons of bait in the freezer.
Thanks for the kind offer. We will be in the hospital for another month or 2 and have to remain close to Seattle until around the first of September. He’s been here since January 27th and he/we are going stir crazy. This gives him something to look forward to and we will definitely be in touch.

Hope to hear from you.  Will process the crab and clean any fish right at the dock.  If you need it vacuum sealed, frozen and stored, I will do that too.  All you'll need is the proper licenses, I can help you with that as well.

I should be able to get him on a private trout pond in south King County. Lots of trout with some big ones. Plenty of flexibility with scheduling too.

You guys are so awesome. He had a pretty rough night last night but I know he will be watching fishing videos on YouTube today and looking forward to the day he can fish again.

Nobody on a charter boat is easy, we just book out the boat for you. Could be just you and your son and the boat crew. Im an east side so not much help logistically but I'll offer up the first $100 to make whatever needs done done.

As for not asking for handouts, you lost a say in that after you posted because thats what we do here sir  :chuckle:  let your boy know we are all in his corner. He is in the best place he could possibly be.
It is foolish and wrong to mourn these men.  Rather, we should thank god that such men lived.  -General George S. Patton

Im down with another $100 to book out a charter for the two of you or to help pay fuel for a local taking yall out.  For anything really.  Just let me know where and when to get it out to yall.

Im on the east side as well, so no help logistically, but will help how I can.
Right wing shooter, I aim for the left!!!

Nowhere in your incoherent rambling did you come close to what can be considered a rational thought. Everyone is now dumber having heard it. I award you no points and may God have mercy on your soul.

If Karl is in for $100, then I am in for $101.

Let's get this young man in some fish.
