As many years I’ve spent traveling to Curlew/Danville area, I’ve yet to see anyone fishing that river. I would also like to know more about it.
I’ve fished the upper section, lots of trout and whitefish. The lower part up by the border is full of pikeminnow.

I’m gonna take a whack at it - couple locals said it’s good, but I’ve never seen anybody fishing it
Danville to Ferry is the "upper kettle river", it gets very shallow mid summer, I haven't fished it as much. Laurier to Lake Roosevelt is the lower Kettle, a lot of that water is from the Granby River which merges with the Kettle in Grand Forks BC, it has a ton of walleye from Barstow down smacking the rainbows and brooks, but there's walleye all the way to Laurier though just not as many. The river got smoked by walleye and high water temps and there was a trout dieoff
