Didn’t draw any limited hunts or OILs but I guess I one upped you, I drew 2 general season bear tags.  :chuckle:
It’s the only animal we have that my friends in Montana are jealous of our populations and trophy potential. We all need to get out and shoot a bunch this year to make up for the lack of spring season.

You did one up me ... :bash:
I'll buy a second tag after I smash the first one.
Having a real wet spring, little warm weather and that berry crop will have bears everywhere can't wait.👍
I bought my son his first bear tag this year ,so if I can put him on one, that will be my first goal.

Berry crop might not be so good in the high elevations this year

Not worried, i got a few patches up high and down low.
And the down low ones had zero berrys last year.
Too dry.

Wife drew Observatory rifle bull and I drew Rimrock muzz bull.  Saved my season after nothing in MT, WY, NV, and UT.  Praying for one more tag in Idaho's draw!

Why would that be? The lingering snowpack?

I drew the Blue Mtn. Foothills Late Muzzy tag, the Blue Creek Muzzy tag and a Blue Creek Antlerless tag.

So, I called to see if I could surrender two of them and just keep the late tag. I did this thinking it would free those up for others to be awarded. I was sad to find out that while I can get my points back if i surrender those tags, nobody else will draw them. So, I took 3 tags out of the pool and will only be keeping one. Kind of a bummer it goes like that. Wonder how often that happens????
