Haha, never hunted the unit, been in it and hunted all around it for years. I had 27 points. Drew weneha bout  5 years ago, but got my tag/points back due to the grizzly fire. My hearts in the weneha, but with 2 tags, it’s just so hard to draw anymore. Mt view was my 2 nd choice and got it. I’ll bust my a$$ in it just as I would anywhere else. Just hoping for no fires. It’s been a struggle trying to draw again

I’ve seen all the meateater stuff. I know the terrain. I never said it was easy.

Awesome tag. Hard hunt terrain wise in NF and swirly wind on 4-0. Lots of elk and opportunities. Will have pressure from rifle Natives on 4-0 but didn't get in the way much off the road system. Tons of bears.

Been apart of quality hunts in the past 2 years. Last year was wonky with fire closures so hopefully nothing for you in the way of closures this year.

I have had some fun in that unit !!! Good tag and probably the only unit in the blues that isn't struggling with its population

Hunted that unit as a kid.  I was about to make my triumphant return either with camera or longbow in hand, then I saw it on meateater  :bdid:   I figured that would bump it for awhile.   I hope you have a great hunt.   That country isnt for the meek
