I was watching Hunt fish nw show and they were talking about this there are 124 elk and a bunch of deer over 1200 I think that’s what they said  multi season tags.they are going to be sending out emails to the people in line that put in for them and you have 10 days from the date of that email to respond

There will be at least one deer multi season to offer on a second notice as I decided not to purchase. 10 day window expired yesterday

I was in Bass Pro on Saturday and  today attempting to exchange my archery elk tag for a modern tag. Saturday and today they had to call were being told that I can’t exchange because I have multiseason tag.

Oh really??? No, I don’t have a multiseason elk tag. So they called a third time and finally got a real answer. That’s when I learned I can’t exchange my tag because I applied for special hunts (was not drawn) which really ticked me off.

Is part of the problem people turning their tags back in or is it people puting in for it then decided not to buy them?

my opinion is if you had to pay up front for it ( and any other special draw) that would cut half the people out from the get go . And the timing allowed to purchase is crazy long and people put it it off until the last minute to purchase or forget
