Anyone heard anything from wdfw if they're going to offer anymore leftover MS tags? I'm still patiently waiting for my chance to buy one  :bash:

I emailed the media resource person yesterday morning asking them to release another update since it’s been over a month since they’ve done the last one. Unsurprisingly, I’ve received no response.

They dropped the ball on this one.  They are going to lose revenue for sure.

Do they intentionally not want to sell all of them? Is that how bad the hunting is out there now? I understand that money is their top priority, but maybe it's that bad? It's hard to believe that an organization can be this incompetent and that it's not actually intentional at this point.

Not that hard to believe.  Hunting access controlled by the liberal left..(?)..  They don't care about money.  Consider the US House of Representatives..  Not having money in the coffers is no reason to not spend much, much more than funding allows.  .

This is the first year in the 13 that I've been hunting that I didn't get a MS deer tag.  All one can do is complain the the Director of WDFW.  Knowing these liberals though, I wouldn't expect much response.  They have you in their control and will be hard-pressed to let go of those reins.

All in all though, it doesn't much matter.  My son passed his Hunter Ed Course and Field Trials last week.  I hit four stores in my area today in an attempt to put all of our gear together prior to the first hunt.  I'm sure you all knew it, but I was surprised to find that here's absolutely no ammo available in the caliber rifles I own.  Even online, prices are 3X what they should be and when I tried to check with one of those price gouged options in my shopping cart, I found that these online merchants no longer ship to WA.   I guess we'll throw rocks and sticks at the bucks this year.  Freeking amazing.

what caliber are you looking for?  I don’t have a lot but if I have a certain caliber it may be enough to get you through the season?

Probably the Anti-Hunting Commissions idea so as to get less hunter day's in the field chasing Bambi.

I talked to a lady yesterday and she said they are probably going to do another next in line.🤦🏻  Just over 500 deer and 18 elk left I believe.  Guess they don’t really need that $70,000 in revenue? :dunno:
