Just came across this trolling the fishing section looking for area 13 reports..  Cryder, I'd pay a guide fee to fish and hang out for a day...  Goof juice and sponsored fashion clown sent me over the edge....  .

No better entertainment can be had than watching the show at the Lake Sammamish boat launch. I cant tell you how many ignorant yuppies with more $ than brains I had watched growing up! I think My personal favorite was the guy trying to pull out his cuddy cabin bayliner with his corvette! That was an epic smoke show where he almost lost the vett into the lake.  It kind of reminded me of the extended burnouts guys do at the drag races. It sucks when your behind them but when your just people watching its epic!

Maybe turn off your head lights when you launch so you don’t blind the guy trying to back in next to you.

That’s my annual rant, sorry I can’t match Cryder’s passion.
Seriously!! Backing down a boat ramp with someone's lights on blinding you is aggravating as h*ll.

The other thing that just drives me nuts is when people pull their boat out and then stop just past the ramp to put all their stuff away. Now I have to line up my boat around their obstacle course. Pull into a parking spot. If you're not in a parking spot and your truck is in park, reevaluate where you are and move.

Ohhhhhh yes there is! Gene Coulon in Renton. 4 ‘in’ spots, and 4 ‘out’ spots, and during the summer they have someone there to direct the idiots because it is such a mess.
I have actually thought about setting up a chair on the weekends and just watching. Worst one was two guys swimming in the water, one more on the trailer, crossed up blocking two lanes, trying to get a JET SKI ON THE TRAILER!!!
Ohhh my!
Cuterebra are NOT cute!

Chew 'em up and spit 'em out, Cryder!

I've been sitting, waiting, and had to just walk up to people,

"You need help with that?"

"Nah, I'm good."

"Well then git outta the way!"

The Everett launch can be epic.  Especially at super low tides.
Look man, some times you just gotta roll the dice

I think most launches can be epic! AMAZING!

We watched a guy decide he did not want to wait for the tide to come in to launch his boat at Lion’s Park, on the Port Washington Narrows. The tides here are extreme, 7-12 knots ripping in and out of the Narrows that supply Dyes Inlet.
This idiot, backs his brand new Toyota Tacoma and new boat, off the end of the ramp and out on the tidal flats. He makes it about 20 yards and both trailer and Taco sink in the mud to the frames!
They guy climbs out of his truck, and sinks to his waste. It took about an hour for him to get to the ramp, completely covered in mud. He used a pay phone to call a wrecker. By the time the wrecker got there the incoming tide was already to the boat.
Then everyone realized the boat is not floating off the trailer. The idiot forgot to unstrap the boat from the trailer and the plug was out. In a short time both truck and boat were completely submerged. The owner tried to get the tow line to the truck with an inner tube, but the tide was to strong. They had to wait for slack after high tide to get the tow line on the truck now under water.
The first attempt to pull them out failed. It was getting dark so we had to leave. I heard they waited again for low tide again, laid boards on the mud out to the truck, and had to unhook the trailer and boat. All his gear that could float was out in Dyes Inlet,  :chuckle:
