How many do they collar anyway? Ive seen quite a few pictures on this site of collared deer and elk. I had never seen one before. :dunno:

Not Herns field......way north of there......the ones they collar are transplants......when they move them..they collar them. There are 3 cows cooared in this herd and one bull........this little herd of 20 had 4 calves last year....2 cows and 2 bulls.......

It I ever shot a collared animal I'd have the collar stay on the neck when I had it mounted.
