New to WA, experienced in hunting

Hey y'all this is my first full season after getting stationed in northwest WA so I'm still a genuine newbie. Got an English setter that is a great bird finder, we've had a decent amount of success hunting grouse on the west side. I'm going to start bumping around the eastside for quail/chukar/phez once those seasons open up, and also would like to hit some forest grouse on the east side of the mountains (heard there's more birds).

Bottom line if anyone wants to meet up to run dogs/hunt/shoot birds please let me know. I'm trying to meet other hunters and willing to drive. Or if you've got any advice I'm all ears, learning to hunt a new state every few years due to the military is a challenge lol.
Just need an English setter and a good pair of boots

Thank you for your service!  I can't imagine walking blind into this state looking for birds.  I hope you get a lot of pointers, if not, send me a PM and I can point ya in the right direction.   :tup:

I appreciate it, I've gotten kinda used to it living in 4 different places in the past 5 years. There's always a learning curve but I've had success in some places. It just takes a while and I rely on some nice folks to cut me a break sometimes haha
