@Machias have you been able to get any traps set since you moved over there?

Just coyotes and beaver, no wolf traps yet.  Knees cannot handle the physical demands of wolf trapping.

Right, my buddy said he didn't bring the sled on the last trip to check his line and spun out about 2 miles from this last wolf set and almost went back home for the day to get the sled and come back. He ended up having to pack the wolf out 2 miles in the snow. He said he was soaked when he got back but skinned it out anyways while it was still warm. H said usually people prefer not to do that but I guess it wasn't bad.

:yeah: Great work! The state of Idaho knows there needs to be a balance, they have F and G folks who get it along with politicians that also get it. Once again tell him thank you 👍

I told him about everyone's compliments and he said tell everyone thanks. I ended up making a deal with him to get my hands on this one and took it to Fuson's Taxidermy in Suncrest. He is a great guy to deal with and I enjoy going in his shop and chatting with him. I am just having a taxi tan done on it for now. Maybe later I will talk my cousin into doing a full body mount with it. Boy is that expensive! $3500-$4000...

I have spent a lot of time in 15 and it’s overrun with wolves.  Hear them and see sign but only have seen one.  That area needs the help. Thanks for what he is doing and keep it up!

Have seen tracks, but haven't seen a wolf yet. Always have a tag, just in case.

Hope he gets them all. I’m in the general location and have seen what they do. It is not good. Unless you like to walk around the woods and not see animals.
