Did you shoot that bad boy at night?
That would be a heck of a surprise to walk up to.

Yep, I shot it behind my house.  My coyot alarm went off at 3am that night, so grabbed my gun next to my bed, walked outside, shot it, went back to bed.   In the morning my boy and I hoped in the golf cart and went down there.  From the house it looked like a real light colored coyote, I never thought anything of it until we drove up to it.  Once in a lifetime coyote for sure!

That’s awesome.   We had a black one in the Wenas, I had in my sites but couldn’t pull the trigger due to houses in the background.  Cool mount!

Any idea on his age?

Be interesting to see if he was doing any breeding, if any of his pups show up sharing that gene...

Also curious to hear more about your coyote alarm, do you have something set up that notifies you or just hearing them carrying on?

Yes, inquiring minds need to know.  That's a really cool looking critter too.

That mount looks very nice, can I ask who was your taxidermist?
I shot a true Albino in 1984, at that time there hadn't been, but a few true albinos shot, my uncle wrote for Outdoor magazines and had it sold to the group that buys items then donates them to Smithsonian, I couldn't part with it at the time, and later lost it due to such terrible taxidermy work, couldn't remount, pretty disappointing. Wish I had your taxidermist do the work!
Yours looks Beautiful!

It’s just a driveway sensor with a solar panel and a alarm in the house
