I have a 35 Ackley magnum that is the wildcat precursor and substantially identical to the 358 Norma. FN Mauser action with tang safety added, Fiberglass stock, Timney trigger.

Good luck with your search.  358 Norma Mags are almost as rare as a 358 STA rifles.

If you're looking for the extra velocity in 35cal, the most recent Speer load data for 35 Whelen is worth a look.  2000-MR was formulated specifically for minimizing pressure levels for improved velocities with heavy-for-caliber bullets and it does very well in medium bores.  My 35 Whelen likes that powder with the 250gr load data, and it's a significant velocity increase for my rifle compared to what I was using previously.  35 Whelen reaching 2600-2700fps velocity with 250gr bullets is a noticeable improvement (and noticeable extra recoil too  :-)  ).

But, I'm a 35 cal guy and still want a 358 STA someday, so I understand wanting the unique caliber.

Yeah I enjoy shooting my 35 Rem, 358 Win and my 35 Whelen. But I'm looking to expand my 35 collection and the extra velocity will help extend my opportunities should they present themselves 😃
So yes you could say I'm a 35 nut as well 🍻

How about a Ruger #1 with a Benchmark barrel?

Could always find a nice 7mm mag and send it down to JES with $250 to have it rebored to 358 Norma.  I have a .358 Win that started out as a .300 Savage with a pitted out bore.  Shoots great.
you can still get gas in heaven, and a drink in kingdom come,
in the meantime, i'll be cleaning my gun
