Got another coyote last night. 106 yds. Bolt action 20 Practical. (32gr .204 varmageddon bullet @3800 fps)  Also first coyote taken with thermal

.223 rem 53 grain V-Max. It stopped and was facing away, I hit a bit left of where I intended ha.

Nice.  I'd be skeptical of that caliber and bullet penetrating deep enough to hit vitals form behind, but the evidence speaks for itself.

Definitely, was aiming for a neck shot when she looked back. The 223 vmax isn’t a sting Texas heart shot candidate.
