Knight Ultra Lite capper
« on: November 29, 2023, 05:41:19 PM »
Is there a special tool to get to put the 209 primers in the Knight Ultra Lite? I just got the Bare 209 Primer conversion and was wondering if anyone has any slick idea's for capping this thing?

Can you post a picture of the bolt? My disc extreme bare primer bolt has a spot where you just drop the primer into a slot and the bolt seats it and extracts it.

I have soft work indoors kind of hands :chuckle: I guess I just figured a guy needed a capper, didn’t realize you just drop em in and it seats itself. I’ll just chuck one in and give her a go.

It is really depends on which bolt you have. I am guessing you have the Knight 209 Bolt and in the that case you just push the the primer into the slots on the nose of the bolt with your fingers.  To start with hold the rifle vertical and set the primer on the edge and then slide it into the face of the bolt.  After you have done it a few times it becomes pretty easy.

The other type of Knight bolt has an open bolt face with a primer adapter.  In that case open the bolt and drop the primer into the opening.
