Four basically new Wild Country P255/50R20 all season tires
« on: January 26, 2023, 10:08:01 AM »
I bought a 2018 Explorer Limited that had brand new tires put on it just prior to me buying it.  I replaced these tires with a set of Michelin LTX which is exclusively what I run on vehicles.  Four Michelin LTX M/S are ~$1,500 and they are worth it to me.

I ran these tires for a couple weeks while waiting on my tires to come in and they are not bad, they are just not what I use.   I had an opportunity to run them on snow and ice last month and they provided good traction.  They provide about what I would expect form any decent all season radial as far as wet weather traction.   They are a bit noisier than Michelin LTX, but so is practically everything else in that market segment.  About on par with a set of Goodyear Wrangler all season tires I once had on a Jeep Grand Cherokee for a while.

I believe they are a Les Schwab house brand and you can roll out with a new set of four for just under a thousand bucks.  They have been sitting at the Ford Dealership waiting for me to pick them up when I brought our F150 in for scheduled maintenance.  I will try and get some photographs up this evening when I get home with them.

These tires impressed me as a good solid no frills all season redial tire.  They were dismounted at the Ford dealership and the beads have suffered no mounting and dismounting damage whatsoever.  I doubt they have a couple thousand miles on them, a couple of the guys at the guys at the dealership were commenting that they wish they would fit their vehicles.

I would like to get $400 for the set.  PM me if you are interested and I will answer any questions you have.

I would also consider taking a nice Ruger 5.5 Bull Barrel MkI or MK II in trade
