Blonde Mallard Hen
« on: January 31, 2023, 10:15:59 AM »
Got really lucky on my last hunt of the season and harvested this blonde mallard hen.  First one I had ever seen in person!

Cool duck. Having it mounted?

Nice one.  Saw a few of these this season, but couldn't connect.  Also saw a nice blond wigeon the past two weeks in a few fields we hunted.  Just never saw it on the wing in good light where I could pick it out.
Cut em!
It's not the shells!  It's the shooter!

Definitely!  I never thought I would mount a hen mallard before I mounted a drake, but this is a nice surprise.
