This just in from Spokane!!
« on: September 17, 2023, 10:32:06 AM »
This was on the next-door web site in Spokane. Perhaps she was over estimating the size of this.

Minnehaha ē 17 hr ago ē
Very large, cougar just spotted five minutes ago in my backyard on my property. I am concerned because it was rather large. It seemed to show no fear from my three large dogs. Thank God there was a gate and I was able to corral my animals inside 911. Doesnít want to even do anything about it, they wanted me too wait and watch for it and call them back if it seems to be aggressive and or is looking as if it is going to attack a animal or human. The police canít even respond to a wild animal that is twice the size of my, 130 pound pitbull scary I was able to round up my dogs and to safety in the house. I was told to call scraps. Since it was a unwanted animal on my property, I could just see it now I doubt the dog catcher is going to wrestle a cougar with just a pole.
Be safe stay inside and keep your animals in.

There are simply too many cats in this state, doesn't matter which side you're on. Regardless, a 260 lb cat would be very impressive as I don't think I have ever heard of or seen one that big.

Let's see them, I'm having a hard time believing there is a 260 lb cat roaming the streets of Spokane.

They had recent fires ,north and south of Spokane.
Which could of pushed animals, condensed animals to other areas around town.
And it's just the "classic" deal too.
Deer ,pets,livestock,ect,ect close to town.
Predator not far behind.
