Wanted: Broken trail cams
« on: September 18, 2023, 02:54:01 PM »
I posted on another thread here, but long story short I had a brand new Reveal trail cam stolen on Private land. The thief also stole my blind and a chair.

I’m looking for broken trail cams that would be otherwise discarded. My plan is to set them up around the property in obvious areas, with my good cams up high and pointed at the broken ones.

I’m hoping I can catch the trespasser and pass the info along to the Sheriff. (I hope the thief is not on this site, because now you know my plan, lol).

Located in Puyallup and willing to pay for shipping or meet up locally.

Thank you!
Mike

I disagree with this statement.  "Fake news".  I run 20 stealthcams and had 1 die over the last 8 years.  But if you haven't found enough dead ones yet I have some wildgame innovations you could have.

Thank you for the offer. I’ll let you know if the other two offers don’t work out! I appreciate it

I ran 5 stealth cams this year and only had one write anything to the card. All fresh batteries and formatted sd cards. The triggers aren't sensitive or adjustable and the image and video quality is poor.  That being said, these are an older model with the rotating switch and the little calculator lcd screen. I'm sure the newer models are much better.

I think it is just like all technology these days some good experiences and some bad.
