Stolen crossbow
« on: November 02, 2023, 09:04:56 AM »
Damn it! Wife went to the grocery store at 56th and South Tacoma Way with the bow in the back seat of my 04 F-150... some SOB broke in and took my bow and backpack. Thank God most of the stuff was brought in the house, but forgot to go back out and grab the bow. They took a screw driver to the key hole and were in an out in the 15 minutes the wife was in the store.
It was a Bear Bruzer...an older one they don't make anymore. They didn't grab the bolts that were right next to it. If anyone catches wind of some azzwipe selling one, message me here. Going to contact the pawn shops now...

They took a screw driver to the key hole
And the truck started? Or were they just being a-holes? I have one of those trucks and the key has a chip in it so he was probably wasting his time.

I assumed it was the key hole on the door??   :dunno: :dunno:  Doesn't sound like they stole the truck....just the contents.

Bum deal! Those trucks are super easy to break into and steal. Mine was broken into 3 times and eventually solen and totaled. I work near a pawn shop in Kent. I will check in there today and next week for it.

 :yeah:

Last time I checked pawn shops for a stolen item, I had multiple pawners tell me that items going to local shops is pretty much a thing of the past. They mentioned truck-loads of stolen goods going out-of-state, across the border, even overseas.
