Three southern Oregon Blacktail on the same base. A small footprint for three larger antlered bucks

Are those blacktail considered the same species of blacktail as the ones in western WA? They look so much more like a mule deer.
If you shoot the first one you will never get that true trophy.

For the books they're considered the same as long as they were killed far enough west

All specie have geographical boundaries.

Crazy any bucks from WA could compare in the books with bucks from south western Oregon/northern western Cal.
If you shoot the first one you will never get that true trophy.

Probably Cascade Blacktail, the other category is Colombian Blacktail. Just a guess though
