:yeah:   Remember ole Tom running back to Spokane and got a camera crew to follow him to a shooting range, didn't help him on bit, WE kicked him and ole Jay out of office that election!!

Problem is, Jay slithered over to the west side and got put back in! :bash: :bash:  The rest is history!

All the state patrol is doing is a NICS and then charging you for it. Pretty stupid.

Oh and the democrats aren’t done yet, in the new legislative session they have already proposed making people take a class on firearms where you have to show your proficiency in live fire… Being proposed by Liz Berry a former aid to Gabby Giffords

HB 1902 will implement a permit to purchase system in Washington, which will require Washingtonians to receive government permission to exercise a constitutionally protected right. The system will require mandatory live fire training prior to purchasing a firearm and the creation of a government registry of personally identifiable information, including fingerprinting and a waiver of medically protected information.

HB 1903 will penalize law-abiding gun owners who are the victims of a crime by placing a civil liability and a $1,000 fine on gun owners who are the victim of theft and requires mandatory reporting of the theft or loss of a firearm within 24 hours to law enforcement

I talked to a lady that was working his reelection campaign the year he lost.  She kept getting earfuls whenever she was doing polling.  When he came to visit them, she asked him about the Brady Bill.  He just shook his head and said "If I'd known everything that was in that bill, I never would have voted for it."

ARE YOU KIDDING ME?  :o VOTED FOR IT?  YOU INTRODUCED IT!  AND YOU WERE SPEAKER OF THE HOUSE!   :yike: :yike:
WTF!!!???? :bash:

... and that kids, is why you can't "vote for the person".  That person represents a party, and that's how they're going to vote nearly all the time.  And the more powerful they get, the less control they have over how they vote...
Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes.  That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

Some dealers in WA have recently learned that their electronic 4473s are not valid for use with the so called SAFE system.

I was calling ole Jay's office during the days of votes, ask her what the call ratio was, she said "3 to 1 asking to vote NO on the Brady bill....."!

Jay doesn't know what "Representative" government means!  Neither do the rest of them and its been that way for over a generation!

The next election Jay was at the Okanogan County Fair,  I see him inside the booth, started to go over to give him a piece of my mind, my wife grabbed my arm and said, "NO you don't"!

Like I said, WE kicked him out of office BUT the idiots on the west side let him back in!

So the 10 days is not absolute!!   It is rather the max numbers of days they have to get it done before you can pick it up regardless.  Still sucks, but in theory it could happen same day if there isn’t a back log or influx.   Here’s to hoping they get a good system going and they are quicker than not.

Still sucks, just trying to find a silver lining.

This is going to hurt private party sales….im not driving across the state, just to return 10 days later when the check is complete.

Death by a thousand cuts.

If you are free to call me an "idiot" because I own property, live and pay taxes on the "west side"......are there any limitations on what I can call you and remain a member here? Please announce who you intend to vote for in every election going forward and I will vote for whoever is running against your choice.

I actually called the state patrol and asked what the holdup was and would it speed things up if I gave my concealed carry and retired military ID
Was told they’re doing the best they can as they are short handed

I said well I guess if nothing else I only had to wait 3 more days
Oh no she said
I said do you think I will get before Christmas
Lady told me no it could be up to 30 days and my FFL would let me know when I could pick it up
I guess the squeaky wheel worked

No more traveling for me on gun deals

According to timberfaller, you are a "west side idiot".......timberfaller and the eastsiders need extra time to determine your level of idiocy and whether you should own a firearm.

I am an idiot to still be living in this state IMO period
