My dads biggest 4 point and my 2nd biggest buck together from 2012

Scores on those? Awesome bucks!

Bottom one was 162" and change.  Top was 164" and change. Neither of them had huge frames and people are always surprised they didn't score more. I feel like they're a good example of when the score doesn't represent the caliber of the animal.

Very nice bucks! Same area?

25 miles and two state highways between them. I don't think they share any genetics. The only thing they have in common is drop tines. The one on top is remarkably symmetrical and only had 2 inches of deductions. The one on bottom had almost no symmetyr and 40+ inches of deductions. (Scores I posted were gross, not net)
