I have one and use it as my daily carry.  I upgraded the sights to a set of night sights.  I went with the standard height as I don't have the MOS that allows for optics to be mounted.  I used night fision sites and like them a lot.  I have three sets of the night fision with different variations...and like them all.

How’s the recoil? Ever shot heavy loads? Pretty accurate?

Very accurate and recoil is very manageable.  I shoot my G17 better, but I think it is because the bigger grip / frame and my hands.  I run 15 round magazines which adds a little weight (5 more rounds).  For a compact single stack, 15+1 is pretty awesome....damnnnnnnn our state for not allowing us to buy these mags now!!   :bash: :bash:

I have shot:

Hornady American Gunner 124 grain.....Shot great and is cheap.
Hornady Critical Duty +P 124 grain......Shot great
Hornady Critical Duty 135gr.......Shot great
Sig Sauer V Crown 124 gr..........Shot great
Federal 147 grain self defense......Shot fine, didn't group as good as the 124 grain stuff.  This could of been me as it had significantly more recoil. 

I currenly use 124 grain bullets because they shoot the best.  I also reload 124 grain plated bullets for the range, so keeping it all the same just makes sense.
