Vancouver Lake worth it? (Shillapoo)
« on: June 22, 2024, 09:44:50 AM »
Hi all,
I've gotten my 10 year old daughter through the hunters ed course and I'm looking for local areas to get here some experience. I haven't ever tried the area around Vancouver lake, is it doable for a first time kid hunt for small game or is it overrun  with people during September-December? We live in Longview, WA so I'm trying to find some accessible locations that aren't a massive hike least not for this year!

Buy the weyerhouser walk in permit for 100.00 bucks and hunt 10 minuted from your house. Best money you will ever spend having a kid with you. Once u buy it message me and Iíll give a place or two to see animals.
