Happy to hear you were able to go and get your Moose. I was in a somewhat similar situation last years, got my Idaho Bull Moose tag and due to extremely painful knees was worried about being able to get my moose down and then more importantly getting him out. I took a young bull and could not be happier. Found him in a nice flat area that I was able to get my ATV right up next to him. He was the smaller of three bulls in the canyon, but it could not have worked out better for me. Don't give the size of your bull a second thought.

Congratulations on filling that tag! Way to gut it out and get it done. I wish you all the best with surgery and then get some rest.
