State Wildlife Action Plan (SWAP)
« on: November 13, 2024, 10:11:13 PM »
The deadline for public input is two days away- 15 Nov.  I suggest paying close attention to the language on the mammals listed under the "Species of Greatest Conservation Need-SGCN"  Note how they are extracting the Pacific Marten as a separate entity as an example.  Note in the survey how the person taking the survey can list "stressors" such as "Climate Change" and "Hunting" on a species, therefore taking into account an emotional response for a supposedly scientifically based study/plan.

I found it politically convenient there's no mention of wind farm impacts on the Golden Eagles, or Ferruginous Hawk populations.  I guess as long as it's "green energy" it's really not harmful to the birds that get killed or crippled.

You'll never get a Big'un if you keep shooting Little'un's.
