Looking at upgrading my spotter tripod with the standard tripod with a gen 2 pan head. Anyone have that setup, and if so, your opinion please?

I have the standard tripod and gen 1 pan head. I’ve been really happy with both for my spotter and binoculars. My spotter is 20-60x85 and it’s solid.

I’ve been using one for about 15 years. Started with a medium and a pistol grip and migrated to a pan head and tall tripod. Bulletproof.
