Here is a hint, stay within 30 miles or less!

Get it but have a good problem, work full time driving to in the dark and driving home in the dark.

My former hunting partner played arm chair Monday morning quarterback telling me to knock on doors.  Thought he was joking because didn’t know at the time he was retaliating behind my back while he had his door knockers doing all the work for him.
Do you work 7 days a week? If not take a day and scout. You can always traffic these local birds.

Sometimes I work 7 days a week.  But luckily have a Monday through Friday full timer atm.  Unfortunately scouting on a Saturday hunt-day is like a day old donut picked over on the break room table.  So it’s very important that these general areas that have had good history still exist and hopefully become productive more often at times during the season again.  One of my traffic areas for geese was once register to hunt is now picked out of the ground forever.

No wonder my former hunting partner treats other hunters like hot garbage if they can’t hold his hand.  He probably understands there is around 13 weekends November through January for 26 days and if he had to scout on Saturday then his hunting would be halved only to be left with the possibility of leftovers.  He is not dumb understanding how poor general public hunting has become but not a good way to represent other hunters imo.
Don't read my post if facts hurt your feeling.

I moved to the Spokane area over 7 years ago and I still haven't shot a gun yet :/ coming from ND i was frequent at hunting for everything you can think of, now I  just keep up on fishing because it's a lot less hassle, but if you ever need a partner let me know lol, I've got plenty of guns and ammo that have been waiting for the opportunity  :)
