Weatherby model 307 Alpine CT
« on: January 18, 2025, 09:24:27 AM »
Does anyone have any insight or firsthand experience with this rifle. Was considering purchasing one in 300 Win, Mag. I haven't been able to find one on the shelf anywhere to look at. ....Thanks

Following! I’m in the market for a rifle and was looking at these as well.

I can only comment on the action.  I recently bought the 307 Builder's Action and put a Proof CF barrel in 7PRC on it.

The action is really smooth and the toolless bolt disassembly is a nice touch.  Can't beat it for the price in my opinion.

The Alpine CT looks like a nice setup in a lightweight rifle.  I think BSF also makes the barrels on the 2020 Waypoint rifles.  I haven't heard of issues with them.

I've been researching and looking at these rifles and really like what I'm seeing.  That said.....I think Seekins has one up them this year with a PH3, Havak element M3, etc.  The new action, stock and quick change barrel options in sub 7lb rifles has me super intrigued.

Now I just need them to be available.  There are so many great rifles out now......I just can't decide.

here a youtube video showing the new seekins.....

There are some great deals on the current lineup of Seekins rifles right now with them discontinuing them for the new design.
