This is always one of my favorite threads every year.  Pics of your deer/bear/elk... whatever... on the ground when you first walked up to it.  Before you lay hands on it.  I'll get us started with my sister's opening day muley.

Beautiful bucks! I’d like to see some “as they lay”. Maybe include some does and cows.  :dunno:

Shot a nice 3 point opening morning.  After about 40 minutes of searching, this is how I found him.
