So lets talk cloths. Again, i get inside a blind, you can get away with pajamas, slippers and a recliner and breakfast buffet~ :chuckle:

i see many hunters, head to toe camo, then i stuble across those with basic drab cloths, no gloves ect, very minimal camo.... what are your thoughts? Do you worry about UV as turkeys sight can detect?   Permethrin for ticks? Gaiters for snakes (if you hunt were rattlers are around!) include your go too vest if you have one!

I like covering my big white bald head.  It stands out like a spotlight.  I might try a ghillie this year but i think breaking up the outline and limiting movement are my biggest concerns.  I try and match the terrain as much as possible.  Really that just means i wear more faded camo in the first half of the season and where more green camo later when it greens up.  I like a vest with a good seat but may switch back to a pack and a big belly bag.  Having a pack is nice for an all day hunt.  Good boots and gators for when its rainy and muck boots too.  I like gloves for warmth but not sure they help conceal.  Face mask if i remember it.  Usually just a bandana

I'm full camo, gloves and face covering.  I haven't specifically worried about UV but maybe I should look into that more...  I use permethrin for ticks and I wear gaiters although not necessarily for snakes.  I have an old H.S Strut vest that I have had for what feels like forever and I turkey hunt with it, as well as deer hunt with it.

Dan-o:
Full camo usually for me.

I've hunted turkeys successfully with just drab or dark pants.

Permithrin is a pain to do right.  I try.....

Run and gun = full camo including facemask.
Sitting in a blind, I like to wear a black shirt/hoodie
