When you get a chance can you post a photo or two of your swim through trap, I would love to see it.  Sorry I didn't get to make it down there and visit with you!

Yeah that looks like you could use it above water also.

That lok like a fairly easy design to make.

Why can't it be use above water  :dunno:
(Not trying to be an A$$, just have no idea about trapping)

(had an Aunt that was married to a local trapper before she died. Asked him about it but did not ever get much info from him on it. He is still doing "Nusence Trapping" around the Tacoma/Puyallup area, but he did not stay in contact with the family after my aunt died. I called him a few times and invited him to family get togethers but he never showed up or called me back. I was a bit disapointed  :'( )

I wondered what happened to you......Tried to hook up with you after trapper training class ended, but I couldn't find you.
You missed a good auction. The can of "Fish *censored*s"  brought a pretty good price.
Hope you are feeling better.

The trap can not be used above the water because the beaver will Shred it....
To construct a pass thew cage trap that works above the water I recommend Hog panels...but this adds Mass weight........
