It doesn't give net or gross it only has the measurements and Final Score.

Interesting that the #1 only has a spread credit of 20 7/8, almost 4" shorter than #2 and 5" shorter than #3

I don't know why they even list spread on sheep since it doesn't count in the final score :dunno:

Are those gross or net records?  That ram probably won't net well.
Pretty sure those are net scores pope. Looks like they're using B&C score sheets with the deductions. I could be wrong though.

Net is bs with sheep.  I like the spread measurement because it helps to visualizE the ram and guess mass.

Yeah, supposedly they won't go over the ridge top and mingle with other herds...lol.  They are trying to work out the cali influence in that herd but I'm not sure how that's coming.

Most sheep have little difference between gross and net score compared to other species since only the differences in circumferences (and not lengths) are deductions.

If all goes as planned a Rocky transplant will occur in the Tucannon later this winter.

I know this is a very old thread, but here is some info... there are now a few to add from the last few years, and even a couple from earlier than 2009.

http://www.nwbiggame.com/top_10.cfm

If you enter Washington and California Bighorn sheep you will see the top ten.

1) - 182 6/8
 2) - 181 0/8
 3) - 177 6/8
 4) - 177 5/8
 5) - 175 4/8
 6) - 174 7/8
 7) - 173 3/8
 8) - 173 2/8
 9) - 167 6/8
10) - 166 5/8

If its the one Pope is thinking of it should move into the top 9.

Mine's not listed in there - how do I get it listed? I think it would be #6.

Have it officially scored at one of the Sportsmens shows or by an official measurer. I think Bow4Elk Tom Ryle is/was a measurer, then I think you pay the $20 and have it entered?
Something along those lines.

My ram should be in there, I paid the $20!  I believe when I killed him he was around 6, but I'd be lucky to be in the top ten now, lol.
