Black wolves
« on: December 28, 2009, 02:36:09 AM »
People have been seeing two black wolves hanging out at the the Wolf Ridge Resort. I took a drive up there Sunday, plenty of people walking their dogs. Not very friendly people, might have been the cold weather, or maybe they forgot how to wave :dunno: This hasn't been the first report of wolves in that area in the in resent years. Has anyone else heard about the wolf sightings there lately?

Wow look like those 2 are Females from Gmu 218. Because I know there is 9 in this 2nd pack are up there. I just learn that once one or two travel alone from other pack to other pack. Two females must be on HEAT to find Lookout Male to breed them.

 ;)

Yes, I here through the drums beating that the managers likes to have them around because they take care of the small rodents..... don't sound like they are very hungry yet or they would take care of a few of those dogs around the Wolf Creek Lodge ;)
