They are usually pretty quiet about when they are releasing.  Generally a Thursday or Friday morning.  You can expect one probably first or second weekend of season and one around Thanksgiving but I don't really know the dates.  There are probably one or two more, as well.  Good luck.  I went out to the Whiskey Dick last year and I literally saw 18 guys hunting it - and I never made it out of the parking lot.  I saw that and left.

Is the Whiskey Dick area right off Old Vantage hwy?

Yeah, if you're coming from Eburg there is a green gate on the left a mile or two (guessing - haven't been there since last year) before you get to the Wild Horse Wind Farm.  If you get to the wind farm you've gone too far.
