good stuff, and great fish...getting none to eat is a good problem to have.

" In today's instant gratification society, more and more pressure revolves around success and the measurement of one's prowess as a hunter by inches on a score chart or field photos produced on social media. Don't fall into the trap. Hunting is-and always will be- about the hunt, the adventure, the views, and time spent with close friends and family. " Ryan Hatfield

Man I'm so jealous of you Tat. You got to go play and I was stuck here with the snow and it was my turn to watch kids  >:( cause momma was working today. Then tomorrow she is home and it will be back to the remodeling project. :bash:

I need to get my "homework" done so I can go play with my friends.

Dave went from being a "Cracker" and having his store bought eggs being made fun of to landing 3 fish and me begging for some of his eggs, which he wouldn't give me. He actually landed all of them and hooked 2 drift fishing which was cool. I just rowed the boat. I'm glad the southerner got a steely before he bails. That release shot is awesome!

Tired yes, dead no. You can always tell by looking at their eyes. The live ones will always be looking down, the ones that got the wood shampoo will be looking somewhere else  :violent1:

Great story and great job fellas.  Nice pics too.  Glad there are some wild stock in the rivers.  I'd rather catch and release fish all day thne take just one home.  A 3 fish day is a good day.

Those are some great looking fish. That hen looks to be an early summer run. I love to catch and release steelhead. Nothing better to me to see them swim away after a hard fight.

We call the ones that get off a "long distance release".  Wait until Tmike hooks you up with a summer steelhead.  Then you will really see what all the fuss is about.  Nice work guys, looks like a lot of fun.

LongTat will be getting ready this summer to "catch and release" another kind of native near a river a long ways from here. I'm not sure if those are summer runs or not, but the ones around here might have to wait.
