right to hunt
« on: May 04, 2008, 10:17:27 PM »
http://www.serconline.org/huntandfish.html Read here and you'll find that  the right to hunt was brought about and died. If this ain't proof that they are gunning to take hunting away from us, the I don't know what is. Once again I think we should get invovled and try to get this through again. Just my :twocents:

Well there are all sorts of questions to be asked if this is to happen. It is against the law to do lots of things like driving 65 on the highway in a posted 60 but people still do it. The only ones banning hunting will effect are the ones that buy licenses and abide by the rules, you can bet your ass loads of people will still  hunt, and with todays camo it will be very difficult to catch someone in the field that doesnt want to be caught.
The things that come to those who wait, may be the things left by those who got there first!

I think we will see a gun ban before we see a sweeping hunting ban.  :twocents:

Hey passion it seems to me your a never guy. You are always saying things will never happen. Your right they never will happen when we have guys like you out there. Ya know it seem like you have alot to say but it is always a put down on subjects like this one. It seems to me we all have alot to say here on subjects like this. But from where I sit, it seems everyone wants to complain and do nothing about it. I'm really tired of the complaints. All you guys are right we will loose are hunting, fishing, and firearms. The anti's have pulled together as a group and are out to stop us. Why is it as hunters and anglers, we can't pull together or is it to hard to comprehend. We can't depend on SCI, Elk Foundation or other clubs to help us here in Washington, We have to do something about it are selves. Call me a wishful thinker or what you will. But if we don't act now when my 7yrs old boy is my age he won't be able to hunt, nor will he kids and how fair is that to them or your kids. We have f_ _ _ed enough sh_t up for our kids.

But if we can't hunt anymore we wouldn't have a good enough reason to own a gun.If we loose hunting it's over..  :twocents:

They'll say we can use bows to hunt with instead of guns and use it as an excuse to ban semiautomatics and pistols and then ultimately bolt guns. That is if we let it happen which I'm not going to say we are or aren't going to see a gun ban or hunting ban in the near future. We will more than likely see the status quo move back and forth but not much more than that.

I hate to put it like this but if there are more college shootings they may finally allow concealed carry on college campuses. Or it may go the other way but it hasn't yet so there is hope.

Who or what is the SERC, they are based in Madison Wisconsin, it says they are too broke to continue posting and cant answer questions.

I dont think they mean squat or have any power. The site looks official but I bet its a very small personal outfit, seems they cant get the support of even the PETA twits, or they would not be broke.

I DO think we can pass the Right to Hunt, other states and groups did. Of course they were not 'nay sayers, quitters, or guys that only have courage on the internet' and they got off thier butts.

I don't know how this sort of thing is done, but I am willing to do what I can.
