The Chehalis is opening tomorrow for coho, will check it and see if it's worth the time and effort to fish it very much before we get rain.
I'll likely have some open seats this season but only during the week, because I will not fish on the weekends, just too many people.

Just want to take a minute to introduce myself to the fishing side of this web site. I've been on the hunting side for a little while. But anyway, my name is Dave. I moved up here from Florida back at the end of may. I am retired from the Army where I spent 20 years and 28 days. Don't get me wrong, I loved my time in the military. But I had a little accident  in Iraq which kind of led to my retirement. During my time in Florida I spent a lot of my time on my boat fishing and spearfishing, and doing my annual trip across to the Bahamas. As far as fishing here, I'm still learning. Been fishing for salmon with a buddy out on Whidbey Island where we chased hatchery salmon that were being protected by native salmon. Took a solid 5 hours, but managed to take 2 home. Had a great time. My boat in Florida was a center console, so I sold it before moving up here. Still deciding if I'm going to get another one, and what do I need up here. I prefer to fish on weekdays. My wife has a really hectic travel schedule for work, so I reserve my weekends for her. She is a PItts Steelers fan, but I don't hold that against her. I know my way around a boat and willing to pitch in for what ever costs there is. I'm a non drug user, but not afraid to have a few beers. I generally keep my conversations away from politics and religion, seems to work out better that way.
It's only trouble if you get caught. Otherwise it is an adventure.

5 hours for 2 keeper salmon ain’t bad.  Lots of bank fishing options if you are willing to drive and work at it a bit.

Just don't think I wanna may a foray into new waters tomorrow.  Hitting Lake Stevens.  Got an open seat. No gear needed but you must have a current license and preferred you have the two pole endorsement.  Plan 9n being on the water just before sunup and will launch at Wyatt park as my close launch is shut down. Likely fish to 10 or 11 am. Boat is an 18ft ctr console Rhboats with pole holders and downriggers.  Not major requirements other than don't show up hungover and don't be late. Pm if interested or post openly.

Almost took you up and then my family decided to go so we'll see you out there.  Black RH grey top.  Good luck!

Slower than i hoped, two fish off the rigger landed, one long line missed. Lovely morning and donated the two kokes to a kid dock fishing.

Also shocked I missed this thread. Great idea. I'll check in occasionally. Also, when I get my little boat situated and may also offer an open seat.
