Anyone heading out? I am going to give it one more shot, we'll see what happens. Worst case scenario, I hope to run across a couple of morels.

One more go in the morning.  I passed up a couple of bearded hens and 3 jakes this afternoon.  I am still hoping for the "big"one.

I hit up the Teanaway and hunted Saturday morning. I hiked close to 10 miles without a sight or sound from a turkey. In total, I hunted 4 weekends this year to no avail, which is the most effort I have put in for a turkey. What did I learn this year? One must hunt where the turkeys are, in order to harvest one.

LOL

We managed to shoot one this year in the Teanaway. Finding them is the hard part. We were planning on going Sat. but had too much crap going on and decided to bag it. At least being out in the woods beats sitting home with a honey do list  :chuckle:
